cardio kickboxing results

Krav maga is a combative system of self-defense with a rich history. Imi Lifkenfeild an Israeli Martial Artist developed the martial art. In the 1940s, he taught different fighting systems to the Jewish Community in Bratislava. His training helped the Jewish community defend themselves from the Nazi Militia. After the war, Lichtenfeild moved to Palestine and taught aggressive hand-to-hand combat techniques to the underground army of the Jewish people.

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu

Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, a grappling system, focuses on throwings, chokes, and joint locks. This system has a strong self defense component but can also be used as an exercise.

Krav Maga has a distinct approach to BJJ. It assumes that an opponent is always armed, and has the intention to kill. This martial art was developed by the Israeli military. It often opens with illegal actions in many countries. Krav Maga emphasizes striking and self defense, but Jiu Jitsu concentrates more on grappling or ground fighting. The techniques taught in this system are useful against bigger and more powerful opponents.

Krav Maga has a different ranking system than BJJ. BJJ is limited to one black belt rank. Krav Maga boasts two coral belt ranks. Although both systems focus on grappling techniques, Krav Maga allows you to use more aggressive techniques in real-world situations.

Krav Maga

BJJJ, Krav Maga, are two distinct styles of self defense. However they complement each others. You should study both if you wish to master self-defense techniques. BJJ is a sport that has a rich history of competition. This type of martial arts focuses on body manipulation, leverage and self-defense. Krav Maga is a self defense system originally intended for military use. It teaches deadly techniques, as well as defensive moves against weapons and other threats.

Imi Lightenfeld, founder Krav Maga, is from Hungary. As a youngster, his father taught him grappling and boxing. He joined resistance groups in Europe during World War II, and fought Nazi oppression until the end. He later immigrated into the newly-formed nation of Israel. He taught the fighting system to civilians and police officers while he was there. Krav Maga has been taught all over the world. The International Krav Maga Federation oversees its curriculum. Krav Maga Global is also involved in the oversight of it.

Self-defense in combative situations

BJJ is a different type of martial art that can help you defend against your opponent. While both martial arts can be effective for self defense, BJJ is more flexible. It allows you to manage your opponent. But, you need to be careful when you take a class in either of the disciplines.

Krav Maga's techniques are extremely violent and are meant for life-threatening situations. This is not something most people need to encounter in their daily lives. In 99 percent of self defense situations, the situation doesn't matter. For your safety as well as that of your opponent, it's best to neutralize your attacker first before resorting to violence.

Krav Maga’s history is long and rich. It was created by Imi Lichtenfeld, an Israeli Martial Artist, who trained in the combat system in order to protect the Jewish community. He realized that real fight is very different than competition fighting. Furthermore, he discovered that fighting in the street was impossible with boxing and wrestling. Lichtenfeld began to blend different techniques to create Krav Maga's unique techniques.

How to use Kubotans for self defense

Kubotan is a small stick used to fight by Okinawan Martial Arts Masters. These small sticks were made originally from bamboo, but they have since been replaced with metal and plastic.

They are usually around 5cm long and 2cm wide.

The Kubotan is designed for striking at an opponent's eyes and nose. It also works against other body parts, like elbows or knees.

Kubotan is a popular choice for women as they are light and portable, can be hidden when not needed, and can be carried by most people.

It is important to know the exact spot where you should place the Kubotan stick in order to make it work.

To hit the right spots accurately, you must practice with your Kubotan.

The following steps will demonstrate how to use Kubotan as a self-defense weapon:

  1. Face the attacker
  2. Hold the Kubotan firmly between your thumb and index finger.
  3. Raise the arm holding the Kubotan above your head.
  4. Swivel the Kubotan down towards the attacker's head.
  5. The attacker should be struck on the nose and eye area.
  6. As the Kubotan hits the target, you should see its impact.
  7. Continue to swing your Kubotan until the Kubotan makes a "thwacking sound".
  8. Reduce the Kubotan, and then step back.
  9. Repeat Steps 1-7 if you wish to keep fighting.
